Miss Starlings class have been busy creating some beautiful handwoven scarves. The students made their own personal looms with egg cartons and threaded the weft threads through the sides, also making their own shuttles with paperclips to weave the warp. Excellent work!!!

The top photos show the weft threaded egg carton looms with half finished scarves within. The bottom two images show the variations in the yarn that create the scarves. Notice that you can stick to one ply of wool or you can mix up textures and ply as you wish.
